Swing

Swing

Description:

The Swing Pattern represents the repeated movement toward one polar position and then back towards the opposite pole. Swing demonstrates the iteration back and forth around a desired middle position in service of maintaining a dynamically balanced state or direction. Swing must be balanced so that movements do not become too extreme because they are not done often enough, causing instability; or, on the other hand, become too frequent, causing a loss of too much energy due to constantly switching states.
